We love to share the stories of New Jersey’s rare wildlife and the amazing lives that they lead amongst us.
Species on the Edge Contest
Since 2003, more than 10,000 children from across New Jersey have entered the Species on the Edge Art & Essay Contest. It is a great way to engage and excite fifth graders in learning about New Jersey’s endangered and threatened wildlife species and engage in a real-world research project where writing and art take on significance beyond the walls of the classroom.
