Meet the 2015 Multimedia Contest Winners

First Place: David Tattoni
CWF's first place winner and recipient of a $1,000 scholarship is David Tattoni, a senior at Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey. For the contest, David created an impressive YouTube channel featuring wildlife, like piping plovers, a state endangered beach nesting bird, and wild places in New Jersey.
David’s career goal is to be a wildlife biologist. He loves birding, herping, and looking for rare plants, and also likes to photograph and film wildlife. He spent a lot of time this summer working with piping plovers and would love to do similar work protecting endangered birds for the rest of his life.
Second Place: Priyanshi Jain and Victoria Momyer
The second place winners are Priyanshi Jain and Victoria Momyer, who spilt their $500 scholarship prize. Priyanshi and Victoria are seniors at Biotechnology High School in Freehold, New Jersey. For the contest, Priyanshi and Victoria developed the website “New Jersey Wilds” and its accompanying Facebook page.
Although Priyanshi intends to go into the field of medicine, she is looking forward to taking wildlife conservation and environmental biology classes in college. She loves camping, hiking, watching wildlife and identifying flowers. As a child, she loved collecting different colored leaves in the fall, and even created a small book one year to send back to her cousins in India.
Victoria plans to study biotechnology and biological research and is looking forward to volunteering in the field of wildlife conservation. She enjoys hiking through local parks with her friends and spending time outside. Victoria's backyard is also certified wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
Third Place: Kayleigh Young
Our third place winner and recipient of a $250 scholarship is Kayleigh Young, a junior at Cresskill High School in Cresskill, New Jersey. For the contest, Kayleigh produced the video "Endangered in New Jersey," which features interviews of her teachers and classmates focused on the importance of wildlife conservation.
Kayleigh aspires to be a film director or a film editor, whenever she is out in nature she is almost always taking pictures and loves making videos and short films.
