Nature Programs in New Jersey State Parks
Join us at Island Beach State Park for programs with a common purpose: an appreciation of New Jersey's natural world.
Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey and the Division of Parks and Forestry are partnering to offer family, adult and kid-friendly programs in Island Beach State Park. Additionally, Outreach Programs are available to schools and community groups.
In Island Beach State Park, we offer exciting programs to compliment park visitors trip to the beach and bay. During the summer season, Free Daily Programs take place inside the Pavilion at Ocean Bathing Area #1 and a wide selection of guided tours are offered for adults, families, and kids. At the nature center, open daily during the summer and 5 days a week Spring, Fall, and Winter, visit our live animal exhibits, touch tables, and self-guided birding and wildlife trails.
And, there is always highly trained environmental educators available for organized groups such as schools and scouting organizations.
