Peregrine falcons have joined bald eagles and ospreys among the state's best wildlife comeback stories in recent decades. After almost being wiped out nationwide by the pesticide DDT, the birds have experienced a slow resurgence in the U.S. and New Jersey.
Join CWF biologist Ben Wurst at the Cape May Library to learn about the Peregrine Falcon,the largest falcon in New Jersey and the world’s fastest animal, capable of flying at speeds over 200 miles an hour.
