This event is great for people of all ages and there are so many things to see and do throughout the day. This year's Open House will be April 2 & 3 from 10:00 - 4:00 daily, so plan to join us as we celebrate the beginning of trout season and spring. CWF will have table on Sunday April 3rd so bring your families, friends, scout troops, church groups, fishing clubs and anyone else for a fun time in the outdoors.

Ben Wurst started his career in 2004 where he found a passion for working with Ospreys for the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife’s Endangered and Nongame Species Program. For the past 7 years, during the summer, he has surveyed hundreds of nests, banded many young, and installed over 65 nest platforms. In this presentation he will discuss the history of the project, life history of the osprey, recovery efforts, and current monitoring methods. Currently he works as the Habitat Program Manager for the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ where he raises private funding to support the NJ Osprey Project.

Join us in planting 250 native trees and shrubs at Otto's Farm Park in Hillsborough, Somerset Co. This planting is the last big step in a 3-year habitat makeover at the park. We'll also install tree guards as well as a bat house.
Otto's Farm Park is located on the southeast corner of the Wertsville and Montgomery Roads intersection. Please bring your own gardening gloves and shovel. (Rain date is Sunday, May 1)
