Eric Sambol uses the medium of photography to reawaken his childhood passion for nature. The exhibition, curated by Eric, showcases the remarkable wildlife he has had the pleasure to interact with. The show features wildlife from four different and distinct locations in New Jersey, Alaska, Manitoba, and British Columbia. www.EricSambol.com

The artist is donating all the proceeds from the sales at this exhibit to the Scholarship Fund of Monmouth University and the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey.

Discover nature in Allaire State Park with an adventure and nature craft.

Wear closed-toed shoes, bring water, hat, sunscreen, bug spray. Cash payable 15 minutes before program starts at Allaire Nature Center. Park entrance fee required.

$10 per family of 2 adults/3 children, $3 per additional child.

The Expo seeks to help people connect with the natural world by providing a unique blend of conservation information, education and hands-on opportunities to learn outdoor skills and activities. Site work has been completed and we would like to enhance an existing hiking trail along the perimeter of the wetlands. The trail follows the edge of a freshwater impoundment and leads into an old blueberry farm. The total length of loop trail is approximately 1 1/2 miles long. Please bring work gloves and pack a lunch. We will provide some light refreshments. Heavy rain will cancel. There are no public restrooms on site, but a Super Wawa is down the road. Join CWF staff to help plant 500 tree seedlings inside one of our habitat restoration areas at a former golf course named "Ponderlodge." We are planting 500 tree seedlings to help reforest some old fairways at the site with funding from Conservation Resources. Volunteers will help plant trees, install protective tree tubes or lay down weed mats around seedlings.

We will have light refreshments. Please bring a pair of work gloves and dress accordingly.

Heavy rain will cancel. Rain date is 9/21.
