New Jersey's Rarest Reptiles and Amphibians with CWF Wildlife Biologist Allegra Mitchell

Join us on Weds., Oct. 17 as we explore "New Jersey’s Rarest Reptiles and Amphibians" with Allegra Mitchell. Allegra manages Conserve Wildlife Foundation’s (CWF) amphibian programs, including the Amphibian Crossing
Project and the Kauffeld’s Calling Frogs program. She works with landowners to preserve bog turtle habitat on private lands and conducts bog turtle population monitoring. She also manages initiatives to reconnect critical
habitat for wildlife in New Jersey.
Allegra received a B.A. in Environmental Science – Conservation Biology as well as an M.S. in Biology from Clark University, where her research focused on the effects of the environment on amphibian habitat preferences and locomotion. Meetings are free and open to all and held at Teaneck Creek Conservancy, 20 Puffin Way, Teaneck. Business meeting at 7:30PM with program at 8:00.

Visit with a wolf, view the night-time sky, learn about our reptiles, and get to know some of the slimy critters that live in our woods. Get your creature on!
