The Bayshore Adventure Program is a fun and exciting learning experience for kids entering 3rd to 6th grade, ages 8-11 to connect with and explore their marine environment. Program leaders from Leonardo State Marina and CWF educators will facilitate hands-on activities that foster exploration and discovery!
The Bayshore Adventure Program is $125/per week/per child. The Bayshore Adventure Program will take place at Leonardo State Marina off Route 36 in Leonardo, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE
- Crabbing at the marina
- Arts & crafts
- Birdwatching for kids
- Seining on the beach to discover the fish, crabs and other marine wildlife that call the bay home
- Friday Fun Day: tug of war, sandcastle building contest, making solar s'mores

Bats have a reputation as being spooky or even fearsome, but they are actually some of the most beneficial animals to people; and right now, bats need our help! Join CWF's Stephanie Feigin for a presentation on these incredible animals and what you can do to keep them around.
Participants will be able to walk through the winding trails at the Trailside Nature and Science Center to locate these amazing creatures using the latest technology.

CWF is hosting a series of wildlife field experiences this summer for kids entering 4th to 6th grades. Kids will experience a day-in-the-life of a wildlife biologist and be up-close with endangered shorebirds such as Piping Plovers and American Oystercatchers! Expert staff biologists will guide children in exciting adventures such as a beach scavenger hunt, wrack line investigating, nest searching, and earn the status of Junior Biologist (badge included)! $50 per child!

Join CWF's Executive Director David Wheeler and other bobcat experts at the Nature Conservancy's Kay Environmental Center on Wednesday, August 9th, from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, for presentations by local New Jersey conservationists on the endangered bobcats and what can be done to help ensure the future of these beautiful animals. Enjoy a private screening of The Creature Show, filmed in the preservation corridor, Bobcat Alley.
