The Superb Sperm Whale

I am a marine mammal that is carnivorous called sperm whale otherwise known as

Phyeseter macrocephalis. My habitat is the coasts of New Jersey, but I also mirgrate. I eat

squid, fish, sharks, and rays. My favorite food is giant squid. I get my food by using

echolocations to find my prey then eat it with my 2 rows of teeth. My body has the

biggest brain and one of the biggest echolocation producers. I have a huge amount of oil,

blubber and thick skin. I eat thousands of fish and gain 1 ton a day. I weigh 35-45 tons

and grow 49-59 feet. I need protection because we’re killed for science, meat, blubber,

and oil. I also need help because of habitat destruction. People can stop littering,

encourage fishermen not to hunt me, removing fishing nets in the seas and oceans, stop

using pesticides and prevent oil spills. We can produce the loudest sound of any animal.

These are reasons why the sperm whales are superb whales.
