Conserve Wildlife Foundation is proud to offer various learning experiences for children throughout the Garden State during the summer.

Bayshore Adventure Program at Leonardo State Marina

ONLY ONE WEEK STILL AVAILABLE!

$125 per Child/Week

  • August 20-24, 2018

The Bayshore Adventure Program is a fun and exciting learning experience for kids entering 3rd to 6th grade, ages 8-11 to connect with and explore their marine environment. Program leaders from Leonardo State Marina and CWF educators will facilitate hands-on activities that foster exploration and discovery!

The Bayshore Adventure Program is $125/per week/per child. The Bayshore Adventure Program will take place at Leonardo State Marina off Route 36 in Leonardo, Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Activities include:

  • Crabbing at the marina
  • Arts & crafts
  • Birdwatching for kids
  • Seining on the beach to discover the fish, crabs and other marine wildlife that call the bay home
  • Friday Fun Day: tug of war, sandcastle building contest, making solar s'mores.

Beach. Birds. Biology. A Wildlife Adventure

$50 per Child/Day

2018 Program Dates:

  • July 11 at Barnegat Light from 9:30 AM - 2:30PM
  • July 18 at Belmar (Shark River Inlet) from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • July 25 at Barnegat Light from 9:30AM - 2:30PM

CWF is hosting a series of wildlife field experiences this summer for kids entering 4th to 6th grades. Kids will experience a day-in-the-life of a wildlife biologist and be up-close with endangered shorebirds such as Piping Plovers and American Oystercatchers! Expert staff biologists will guide children in exciting adventures such as a beach scavenger hunt, wrack line investigating, nest searching, and earn the status of Junior Biologist (badge included)!

Wildlife Explorer Summer Program at Duke Farms

$300 per Child/Week

The Wildlife Explorer Summer Program at Duke Farms is a fun and exciting learning experience for kids entering 3rd to 8th grade, ages 8-13 to connect with and explore the outdoors.

The Program is $300/per week/per child. Activities will run from 9 AM - 3 PM daily, rain or shine (bring rain gear). Duke Farms is located in Hillsborough, Somerset County, New Jersey.

Activities Include:

  • Close-up encounters with wildlife like birds, bats and turtles!
  • Get muddy exploring Duke Farms' ponds and streams
  • Create nature-based art
  • Daily talks with real-life scientists and hands-on projects!
  • And much more!
